City of Durham Transit Fleet & ITS Technology Support

Exult Engineering is currently assisting the City of Durham and GoDurham in the revitalization and expansion of their transit fleet by providing various transit related professional services.

• Transit & ITS Strategic Planning – Exult is preparing a strategic plan to help the City of Durham and GoDurham maintain and expand their transit fleet. The plan will focus on fleet revitalization and emerging technologies research. It will provide a phased analysis for prioritizing the implementation of the new strategies over the next 10-years.
• CAD/AVL Procurement – Exult is assisting the City and GoDurham in procurement of a new Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD)/Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) System for their transit fleet.
• Maintenance Audit – Exult is performing a comprehensive maintenance audit of the City’s existing transit fleet to evaluate and document the current practices of the City’s maintenance program.
